An entertaining weekly half hour show (video podcast) about comic book news and culture.
Who is Variant Edition for?
Both newcomers and long time fans who want to know what is going in the comic book world, what books are worth reading and want to know it without the close-minded fanboy attitude.
How?
We wade through all the news and read all the books you wish you could, then tell you what you really need to know or might be missing.
Why?
Not all comic book fans have the time to read every web board, news posting and interview to find out what it new or upcoming; nor the time to read all the books published and discover those that are really worth reading.
Who is Variant Edition?
Mike - Host, reviewer, interviewer and all-around great guy.
Thinks that Hal Jordan is the greatest Green Lantern.
Nick - News and weather…plus reviewer and interviewer.
Thinks Godzilla is Japan’s greatest cultural invention.
Mike Swisstack - Resident statue expert.
Doesn’t let the paint fumes get to him.
Jenn Swisstack - Mike’s lovely wife. Also reviews comics.
When Cthulu comes, she wants to be eaten early.
Kevin - Man behind the scenes. And sometimes out in front too.
Wishes he had more time to read comics.
Luis - New addition. Reviewer and interviewer. Also helps out hosting from time to time.
Wishes Captain Marvel (the Marvel one) would get a book again.
